What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?

What makes me stand out as a future collegiate athlete is my willingness to work on and off the field. I’m a year younger than everyone in my grade so it makes me go harder to get what others have. I can cover, stop the run, and run sideline to sideline making plays.

Smith is absolutely an FBS player. If you were wondering, you shouldn’t be. The 6’2″ linebacker looks great in coverage and his 6’2″ frame changes directions really well. He’s still adding weight, no doubt, but his speed to get to tackles that other LBS could never do. Smith has outstanding speed – cannot be said enough. He can play man coverage and stick with the slot receiver on vertical passing plays. Working on hip strength and flexibility will make the difference for Smith. Smith looked really good in pass coverage this year, he shows urgency in his back pedal and gets good depth in a zone defense where he can read the play out in front and use his speed to hit the receiver right away.
