What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?
Averaging over 9 tackles per game. Won 2 state championship and played Varsity since Freshman year. Multi player of the week and team captain.
Dupont was very close to being All-State as a junior playing for the state champions in 4-A. The heavy set linebacker is a fairly athletic player considering his wide frame. Watching him toe tap down the sideline as a receiver on offense shows just that on film. 15 years ago Dupont would be a no-doubt FBS fullback, but that position is a dying breed, so playing defense at the next level is an obvious option. He is a tenacious player who takes on blocks with vigor. Has powerful hands at the point of attack. Strong lower base makes for him hard to move. Has a good nose for the football, led his team in tackles with over 100. Pretty good in pass coverage reading the play, getting his hands on the football a few times but no interceptions. Tackles low, and hits with impact. Dupont is a high-energy player. Going into the offseason he needs to work on lateral quickness and short space acceleration. He has a solid frame, but lack of height will have to be made up for with quickness. Definitely a pure football player tho, he should get D1 interest no doubt.
