What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?
Roninn accomplished the rare feat of starting varsity for Camden as only a sophomore. Has the size and ability that schools are looking for, but most of all he's not afraid to hit. A guy that can cover deep at safety and also step up on the line and contain the run game. Used at outside linebacker when needed. Projects as a D-1 prospect.
Runnin’ Roninn Wright is a big hitting 2019 safety with nice acceleration and instincts reading the QB’s eyes. The 2019 ATH is an outstanding tackler and takes really good pursuit angles. He has FBS size at 6’2″ 210 and the explosive first step we look for and think he should develop into a big-time player at the next level.At this point it looks like he can grow into an OLB in fact, and think by next fall he will 220 pounds. Wright has good speed getting out to the sideline, and his prior experience as a defensive back demonstrates good pass coverage skills. He needs to be more physical with his hands getting off blocks. He needs to get more reps next fall and fully expect him to be a full time linebacker at Camden his senior year.
