What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?

Being able to give 110% on and off the field at all times. Being smart and using strength and skill to win battles.

Speight was considered to be the heart of this Coffee team, who was runner-up in 6-A. He made our Honorable Mention All-State team as a junior and followed up as a senior making both preseason and postseason All-State. He is built like an offensive guard and just uses his shear power to get a good leverage on the defender. I think the biggest jump in his film is the frequency he is pancaking the defender. It looks like he has added some good weight over the last year, and should top 300 in college. The 2019 lineman is keeping his back flatter this year, showing a lot more aggression finishing off his blocks taking the defender to the ground. Needs to get more leverage, peak and dig his toes into the ground while engaged with a defensive lineman. He would be a great fit on a run-heavy team at offensive guard. Speight is a big time competitor and his leadership skills should be a major asset that colleges look for in a student-athlete.
