Peters is one of the best students in his graduating class at Cairo and at 6’3″ he is certainly going to catch the eye of college scouts. Passing is okay, he sees things open up down the middle and steps into his throw. there is a lot more potential for him break off longer runs, and look to see his added explosiveness helps that happen in 2019. Solid QB, and after playing good reps as a sophomore, came on strong leading his team to a top 10 finish in his classification. Willing runner in the middle of the trenches, and length allows for him to pick up yards just falling forward in some cases. Solid athleticism, he does bounce it outside and sells his mesh pretty well – definitely some option instincts. Arm strength is a WIP – fundamentals are pretty solid tho. Plants on front foot and good follow through on his release. Needs to work on spacing with pitch man. His junior year he compiled about 500 yards of passing and rushing each respectfully. Needs to really double those numbers and to really improve his passing consistency this season to expand on current offers, which are option variant teams. Solid academics and qualifying ACT score; definitely worth taking a look at Peters, even at other positions, which at 6’3″, there might be better placement at the next level, specifically FS. His size and athleticism is D1 caliber, but needs to be more explosive and continue to improve on game-to-game consistent in 2019.
