Davis is a compact back with light feet and a nice burst right when he gets ball in his hands. He shows really good balance and running instincts, making nifty cuts to avoid tackles right when they happen. He’s a tough football player, always fighting for extra yardage, and will not go out on the sideline right way. His speed was truly on display last season where he broke a lot of long runs, but also looked a lot more powerful running through tackles. His speed is no doubt legit, not sure about 4.3 speed, but he can blow by most defenders. His compact frame makes him an intriguing prospect, and I think option teams should look at him as primary ball carrier since he is big play waiting to happen. At the next level I think he can get over 205 pounds.
