Rush is now a two time state champion and 28-0 as a starter. As a sophomore he led a game tying drive in the final few minutes of regulation, making a few key throws, especially a key on to Tre Douglas on 4th down. He is a cool as a cucumber out there on the field and seems to have a natural ability create with his feet. He gets the ball out deep to his players and has made some improvements not holding onto the football too long. He does a solid job of moving around in the pocket and throws a catchable pass from intermediate range. Rush throws a nice tight spiral. We wanted to see a bigger jump in terms of running the football this year, in fact a sophomore started to get more reps on obvious passing plays. Still the 2019 athlete is tough as nails, just needs more work with his lateral quickness.
