What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?

I understand the game very well and i feel like my knowledge at the safety position is rare and i can also be used at multiple positions. Junior year- 2nd team all region (only started last 5 games)

Herndon jumps into the starting FS spot after playing behind an All-State player the last few years and seems to be at home. He has a good feel at reading the play and does a nice job of playing the football up top despite being a shade under 6′. Very good tackler, really like how he breaks on the play and hits the ball carrier square in the numbers. Herndon has snagged a few interceptions this year so far, and does a really nice job of raking the ball out if cannot catch it. The senior is a smart player who finds himself in the right place at the right time. Good body composition to work with albeit lower weight lifting numbers, given more time, Herndon could be a pretty nasty hitter at the next level, and really fits the model of the new era FS in today’s defenses. Usually tackles low, but sometimes get up too high, right now it’s resulting in big hits, but come college that will not always be the case. Still very good in run support. Impressive senior year in general, if he keeps it up, All-Region will be in the bag and should get some All-State inquiries.
