What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?

I play every down like it was my last!! I play physical and smart!! I have a great understanding of the game.. Read plays quick and play fast!! My GPA is great and I work hard!!

Dyer has gained 20 pounds in the last year, which illustrates his dedication to the game and ability to compete at the college level. The Central linebacker is a hard-nosed player with very good football instincts when roaming the middle of the defense. He also plays h-back and that same big hitting ability you see on D translates over nicely as a blocking back. The last two seasons we have scouted Dyer, he has shown a good ability to drop back in coverage and read the QB’s eyes to make an interception. He does an excellent job of pursuing the ball carrier keeping his shoulder pads parallel to the line of scrimmage. Dyer’s compact body makes him very hard to block and the senior seemingly enjoys plugging the A gap.
