What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?

I can play multiple positions, including safety, outside linebacker, and nickel. I'm very coachable and have a good understanding of the game. One of my biggest assets is that I see the field very well and am adept at reading plays. Coming downhill and meeting running backs in the hole is something I excel at.

Russell played 6 games (and a few JV as well) last season, totaling around 30 tackles, 3 PBU’s, an INT, and a few TFLs. He does show solid upside, and has a long athletic running gait. Really like the way Russell tackles, he squares up, and hits them in the numbers. He is quick to support the run, and demonstrates good hustle on his film. Senior year he took his game to another level, and was a major varsity contributor. His speed is extremely impressive, and he can make up a ton of ground in a hurry. Love the energy this kid plays with. Pass coverage was concern last year, but he sticking to his man like glue senior year, and also looking comfortable dropping back into a zone. Russell has a ton of upside as he is just filling into his body still. He is the definition of a late bloomer. By the end of the year Allatoona’s defense was one of the best in 6-A.
