Coleman followed ups a complimentary sophomore year with an All-State performance where he had nearly 2000 all-purpose yards on the season. He has a sprinter’s running stride and can create some serious space between him and the defender. He roasted defenses down the middle as a receiver running seam routes where he just ran behind the zone. Coleman can make elite cuts and his slippery running style makes him very hard to tackle. He also does a great job of reading his blocks and he times his cuts excellently, which results in big plays for the offense. He might lack size, but doesn’t shy from contact, and will fight for extra yards. Coleman has to keep on adding weight, and that could be tough considering his frame, but considering today’s spread offenses, and his elite ability to make a defender miss, I just don’t see how FBS schools do not end up offering him over the course of his recruitment. 1787 yards rushing last year, averaged 137.5 yards per game and 19 touchdowns. Receiving took a dip from 571 soph to 331 junior year. He still average 17.4 yard per catch with a long of 74 yards. Pound for pound Coleman is one of the best backs in Georgia
