What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?
I’m very physical in press man coverage. I recognize the play early and understand the game in order to make great plays on the ball, which combined with great ball skills.
Cochran has a longer, more athletic body, and just watching move around the field at the Corky Kell Classic he seemed to pass the eye ball test. What I really like about the senior is aggressiveness, and that assertive quickness to get in front of the receiver to make a play on the football should impress a lot of colleges. Solid tackling indicates that he can potentially play some safety as well. Cochran was one of the biggest improvers in the state of GA, his junior film looked more like a lower level recruit’s, but that is a good reason to not write off a recruit based off junior year. Stood out at the Corky Kell, moves really well, has excellent footwork now. Good looking body to play FBS football and make some crazy PBU’s this year where he really exploded up for the football. Had 7 interceptions which was near the tops in 7-A in GA and a very respectful 15 PBU’s.
