Fletcher has a really athletic burst with a sprinter’s like running stride. Junior year he showed some strong film, and even when taking a miss step he has the speed to catch back up with the receiver. His top end acceleration is impressive, and he does a solid job of jumping the passing route. He looks much improved from an athletic stand point SR year. More explosive, better footwork when pressing the receiver. Fletcher has the frame to play at any level, he needs to a better job of squaring up his tackle attempts. He’s produced really well so far this year, giving up 20 tackles and almost no catches – making some really nice special teams plays especially. Good all-around athlete.
