Watching Evans and it’s easy to be excited for the 2020 recruit. He’s a big looking athlete with a good body composition. Can take on contact pretty well, but could serve himself better by lowering his pad level. Evans looks to be a raw football player, he’s not very elusive in space, and just so much of his game looks like a work in progress. His potential as a possession receiver who can dominate his side as a blocker is a legit asset to any team running the spread offense, and his blocks this fall might be bigger highlights than his receptions. No legit varsity film really yet.
