Bell is a great fundamental tackler who does an excellent job of squaring up on his attempt. He meets the ball carrier at the midsections, explodes through his hips and just drops the ball carrier where he stands. At 5’11” and 200 lbs already, Bell is built college ready. He could very well keep on adding weight. I’m really impressed with his coverage skills, how well he rotates his hips and reads the plays then makes a break on the pass. He high points a good bit of his interceptions, and just has a good feel at reading the QB’s eyes. The Pierce Co 2020 player is an FBS athlete with a similar skill set. Watching grow more in man coverage would just really add another element to his recruitment and make him more coveted. He missed a large part of the middle of the season, but Bell is no doubt one of the better players in South Georgia. The direct pursuit angle he takes from such a long distance shows his general football instincts and ability to see the open field so well. Even with a huge cast on his hand, he took down one of the toughest runners in the state vs Monroe Area in 3 different situations in a solo situation.
