What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?
I am a multi sport athlete with very good grades as well. I was all region my junior year and played 3 positions across the line.
Ball is a multi-sport athlete for Douglas playing baseball and football. The tough athlete has good leg drive, does a really nice job of getting leverage on his opponent and driving them out of the play. He is a tenacious blocker, doesn’t seems to stop until the whistle is blown. Ball is going to have to play offensive guard or center at the next level. He’s a really smart kid, think he can transition anywhere and pick up the scheme fast. He’s an explosive player, needs to work on getting his pads lower when blocking, continue to improve flexibility while also gaining weight to be around 270 or over in the next year. He has a good frame to add weight, so no too worry to see Ball well over 285 in college – just needs more time to develop.
