Cochran is a solid athlete with an attacking mindset. His current frame suggest that playing linebacker at the next level could be tough, but as an Nickle he has a lot of potential. He is a big hitter, and looks very effective when blitzing off the edge. He seems to be a step slow right now reacting to the play, and I would like see him be a step quicker after the ball is snapped. He has a solid frame, longer angular type of body, and should continue to add on weight and end up around 205-215 at the next level. Cochran’s versatility sets him up to be a good defender to have out in space. He needs to improve his overall strength, especially in the hips.
