Arnold went for 1700 yards his sophomore year and was the driving force for their state title run. I think what stands out so quickly with the highly productive football player is his acceleration. He can really jump to his top speed quickly, and that really throws defenders off. Going back to his long INT return against Rockmart in the state playoffs last year, Arnold just turns on another gear when defenders get close to him. Is his top end speed truly elite considering his size, well, not sure about that, but would guess he runs a 100m around 11 seconds. Going into his junior season film and he definitely looks to added another 10 lbs to his frame. Much harder to get off his feet. Arnold is already off to a great season so far, and will certainly be an All-State selection as long as he stays healthy. He’s doing more in the passing game here, which is certainly a big development, and gives more value to his APB potential, especially when considering his size. It’ll be interesting to see how this fall continues to develop but super encouraged by the more tackles broken here in 2020.
