Senior had 14 tackles, 11 of which were solo in the first round of the state playoffs. He seeks through the line of scrimmage and is quick locating the ball and flowing to it. Really like how he explodes through his tackles and shows excellent leg drive too. Good size already, would like to see him get a little quicker moving side to side but a good frame to work with. DeCosta shows a great motor, and his hustle pays off with plenty of backside tackles, and fumble recovery way in the backfield. He is solid tackler, flies through the A gap, and looks like a bonafide run-stopper.
