Grier earned a ton of reps on one of the most talented defensive lines back in 2017. The 2019 recruit lined up off the edge, but also inside as well. Shows a consistent effort throughout the play. Good leg drive, seems to get solid leverage. Needs work on getting out his stance quicker. Grier looks like an SDE at this point in his development. He is pretty strong at the point of attack, gets a nice initial push, and then slides over into the hole to make a play. He is not explosive, just a reliable run-stopper whose energy stays high.
