88 tackles and 7 sacks later and Okpala’s season is over with at Loganville with a 1st Team All-Region honors to show. The 2021 edge rusher is vicious getting off his blocks and plays with a really high motor. Terrific power at the point of attack, not sure about his wing span, but definitely gets good leverage fighting off blocks. Weight lifting numbers are extremely impressive. Solid agility, has a nice bounce to his step. Tackling is okay, would like to see him use his arms a lot less and not attempt so high either. Good quickness out his stance, he really gets his advantage right at the snap. Needs to cross train as an OLB, that’s his best fit at the next level. Really like his the 2021 recruit’s upside as a specialized pass-rusher at the next level.
