What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?

Hodnett is just a rock solid football player who went on both sides of the football last year for Apalachee. What really stands out about the 2020 recruit is how quick his feet are and the powerful base he plays with. The young prospect does a really good job of getting himself in excellent positioning, sets his feet up really well, gets excellent leverage and pushes the defender back. Gets on his toes when blocking. He is quick out his stance and shows consistently strong hands. Hodnett looks like an excellent fit for a option based system. He has a great motor. Plays defensive line too where his activity is constant. Carries his weight well at over 250 lbs. Improving in the weight room and just becoming more explosive will help put Hodnett’s recruitment to the next level. I think Hodnett has some legit potential as a center at the next level. His lateral quickness and motor gets the big athlete in good situations to make an impact. Made a 50 lb increase to his power clean over the last year, I think the 2020 recruit could play C for an FBS school honestly.
