Wilson was more of a scatback this year for Americus-Sumter, who is looking for explosive players this fall in the backfield. Wilson is just that, and it’s pretty amazing to watch how quickly he can pick up speed after just a few strides. His explosive plays against Crisp is just a demonstration at how explosive he can be, and the flexibility he shows for a spread offense should grab the attention of a lot of schools. Wilson should be on track for 1000 all-purpose yards this season no problem, and you can only expect Americus-Sumter getting him the ball as much as possible. Took a few big hits from a 3 star MLB committed to an FBS school and got right back up. Very dangerous as a slot receiver using his speed on seam passes against the zone. Coach is really vouching for him too, I think some colleges will bite on Wilson toward the end of his recruitment. He made some really clutch plays for his teams and so many times he was lined up coming out of the backfield too.
