Dixon followed up a strong sophomore year on the varsity squad with a junior year where his film shows the length and athleticism we look for in FBS defensive ends. He plays low, and has quick hands which allows him to get off blocks quickly. Does a great job of hedging in the direction of the play right at the snap. Impact tackler, who plays with a lot of aggressiveness – sometimes Dixon just bull rushes his way through the middle. I like his length, and he seems to use it well to get leverage on the offensive lineman. He has a nose stopping the run, and should be able to grow into a SDE at the next level. This offseason we want to see him to see him continue to add weight to his frame and we project he can be close to 240-245 by senior year. Dixon has always shown to be an FBS caliber football player, and his offers are beginning to reflect that.
