Lawson has a massive frame and his ability drive a defender back up field while maintaining body control is pretty impressive. He is one of the biggest lineman in the lower classifications in GA, which makes it impressive that he plays OT in a very pass happy offense – granted last year they did run more than usual. His footwork is good, but would like to see more quickness, perhaps losing 10-15 lbs could really benefit Lawson. Hip flexibility absolutely needs to improve, just do not see enough bend when blocking and comes out looking stiff. Power clean number supports that lack of strength on film too. Still very impressed with the powerful lineman and think with a little more work he can be a really good OG with an experienced background as a pass blocker. Lawson dwarfs the competition and his powerful arms can just manhandle the competition.
