Edwards is one of the more efficient QBs in the state of Georgia. He does a great job of commanding his offense, he sees the field really well, and shows good timing with his receivers. He shows excellent agility in the pocket which allows him maneuver around and buy more time. We saw multiple scenarios where he escapes away from legit 3 star defensive ends. We really like his ability to throw under pressure, and oncoming blitzers seem to have zero affect on his ability to throw a pass. From a fundamental stand point Edwards has to drop down more to generate enough power on his throws, which creates an unorthodox release. That should not be misconstrued as a weak arm, and we see him get the ball down field +50 yards and plenty of zip on short to intermediate passes. Regardless, Edwards is an extremely efficient QB and reads the defensive scheme very quickly on each play.
