What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?
I think the biggest thing that stands out is my size but the surprise will be that I can run the football. I was blessed to sit behind two seniors for the past two years and it’s prepared me for my junior year. My stats from my JV season were 6 rushing TDs, longest 58, passing yards approximately 1300-1500 and 11 TDs.
Bryant has the frame at 6’4″ and 205 lbs. to already catch the attention of college evaluators, then you take into account his production over the last few seasons. The Paulding County product has already thrown for 1436 yards completing 109 of his 149 attempts. Bryant plays in an open offense where he is given a lot of freedom in the pocket. Bryant does a good job of going through his progressions and has good patience reading the defense. Bryant has good footwork moving around the pocket, light feet making cuts, and keeping his head up. Bryant snaps off a quick release. He is not an explosive athlete, you won’t see a long scramble or a laser beam downfield, but Bryant consistently makes good reads. He transitions his weight forward and rotates shoulders over, you can tell Bryant has been well coached and he throws a very catchable deep ball. East season, Bryant continues to put up big numbers and his consistent progression shows he will continue into a good pocket passer well into college.
