Black has grow into an absolute beast over the last year, gaining a few more inches now and is now at 280 lbs. The 2020 defensive tackle is a special athlete for sure, and it’s amazing the progress he has made in the last year. He has a ton of upside right now, and the humility that he walks with really separates himself from others his age. Black is very athletic, can be downright explosive off the ball. Black is a really impressive defensive tackle prospect with excellent body composition and size for a class of 20 player. He is extremely explosive at the point of attack and demonstrates quick hands to get off blocks. Black has made a splash on varsity just like we expected, and looks like a great athlete moving around in the trenches. He shows a ton of ability as a pass-rusher at the next level and demonstrates elite agility for a guy his size. Overall, he’s just got so much upside that there is no way Power 5 schools are not all over him. He is a top 50 recruit in the state for his class. Could be a great 3-4 DE.
