What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?
I have a great work ethic and play for the team success. Physical strength and size are what you see but heart and determination to succeed are what are most important to me.
Yalverton will most likely have to make the switch to center at the next level. His length will certainly play a factor in his ability as a pass-blocker, so center seems like a suitable switch at the next level where he can focus on gap control. He has outstanding strength but would like to see him work on his flexibility some, especially in the hips and hamstrings. Being an undersized offensive lineman Yelverton needs to focus on his agility as much as possible. Right now, his immense strength allows him to push back smaller defenders but needs to focus on the fundamentals too – keeping a solid base, a flat back, and getting legit leverage on his opponent while not tooblocking high.
