What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?

great hands; makes big plays; Farm Bureau player of the game – Hiram, Offensive player of the game – Dalton; Fox5Atlanta play of the week – Dalton

First team All-Region receiver was a solid weapon for Harrison in 2019. He hits his top speed pretty quickly on his release and can flat out burn the defense. Legit break away speed, Owens has the ability to a legit vertical threat at the next level. Route running could stand to be a point of focus. He is deceptive, but needs to be more concise with his breaks and sell his routes a little bit more. Right now Owens is a solid looking slot back with little skill in the short yardage passing game. Tough to tackle, has a low center of gravity like a running back. You would think they would run more bubble screens and jet sweeps for Owens. I like the balance and instincts he shows after the catch – Owens is a solid D1 caliber athlete.
