Remember hearing about Stampley going back to 8th grade where a parent in the Fayette Cou. program was raving about him. He made first team All-County his sophomore year for FC, and now finds himself at Starr’s Mill for his junior year. Stampley is a good tackler, he comes in with intensity and doesn’t let up before contact. Throwing down the middle? Best believe the 2022 safety is going to deliver the big hit. He has a solid frame at 6′ and 170 lbs. Top end acceleration is pretty good, tracking down ball carriers to the sidelines. He definitely knows how to make plays, and has done so every year of HS so far. Stampley doesn’t back away from competition, and think his junior film will prove that he is a solid D1 caliber DB.
