Chancey has moved over to Evans after being the signal-caller for Augusta Christian. He throws well-timed passes and has a good feel of reading the defense. Chancey finds receivers well on intermediate passes over the middle. He needs to work on his footwork while in the pocket, and that should help with his velocity on his passes. He’s a good runner though; Chancey gets vertical and makes decisive cuts in the open field. Couple that with his 6’3″ frame and solid acceleration into the open field, and you can see why Chancey is effective running the football with designed runs. We would honestly like to see him run the ball more in his senior year. His 4.3 shuttle time translates over to film, showing light feet and a quick change of direction. Chancey needs to get stronger in general and continue to work on his footwork in the pocket. To some extent, colleges should consider him an athlete because of how well he moves and his general frame.
