What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?

I am a true christian, and a firm believer in God I am very respectful and easy to coach, I am very athletic for my size I can play linebacker or strong safety I go 110% every play I play with a chip on my shoulder and play every down to the fullest I have the up most respect for all of my coaches and teammates and I put the team first, I’m also a great communicator on the field, I can blitz, pass rush, as well as, dropping back in coverage. When you get an athlete like me your getting a player that is serious in the class room and the on the field I am a leader, I take charge, and I’m at my peak when it’s clutch time. I never fold under pressure.

Horton is a new transfer to Langston from South Carolina but it didn’t take schools long to realize how talented the young linebacker is. He is terrible hard to block but his sideline to sideline speed is what makes so exceptional for his size. Horton has FBS size and moves really well laterally. We are really convinced that Horton is a cannot miss Power 5 linebacker. He displays outstanding coverage instincts and makes textbook tackles. More Power 5 schools will be joining Vanderbilt sooner more than later.

2015 STATS: 150 tackles, 2 DTD’s, 2 INT’s, 4 FF, 1 FR & 5 PBU’s
