What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?

I’ve got a heart for the game that is hard to come across. I put in extra work even when I’m not asked to and I lead by example. When things get hard I embrace it and work even harder. I lettered my freshman and sophomore year and participated in the Georgia Elite Classic both years, leading the game in tackles in the sophomore game. I have a 4.0 GPA and made a 1250 on the SAT so my college acceptance would not be a difficult process. My grades are proof that I’m smart enough to make adjustments quickly on the field when necessary. I’m quick to the ball and any team that would give me an opportunity would not only get a good football player, but also a true leader.

Jackson had 111 tackles on the year and was first team All-Region. The 5’11” linebacker was even his team captain. Even more impressive is that out of the 271 students in his graduating class at his HS Jackson is ranked #3 among core GPA’s. He’s short, but has a very good feel for the game. Watching the Georgia elite classic Jackson caught our eye with his excellent acceleration to the football and a huge hit that he had where he hustled his tail off. Jackson made a lot of tackles around the LOS, so wouldn’t take a lot of stock at his 4 tackles for loss. These were short yardage plays, not 20 yards down field and assisted. He goes into the A & B gaps with reckless abandon, and just drills the ball carrier. He could definitely get stronger in the lower body and just try to fill out his frame as much as possible so that he can drive the ball carrier back easier instead of launching his body. Jackson is tough as nails and his high IQ both on the field and in the classroom should be ideal for strong academic schools. Had added about 10 lbs. to his frame since last fall.
