Windom looked like a recruit to know after his freshman year where he ran for 1k yards and was just under 1500 yards of total offense. The speedy slot back is really good at reading angles and making defenders miss. He shimmies in tight spaces, makes defenders jump out of their shoes trying to make a tackle, but what surprises you the most, for freshman film, is how Windom finishes off the runs. He lowers his shoulder and drives his legs through contact. Windom is a natural as a runner, and from all reports, he is going into this next season 100%. Recruiting aside, the 2025 running back is set for an All-State caliber season. We are interested to see where he has improved, especially as a receiver and just his general top end speed and how he has continued to fill out. One thing is for sure, Windom should be battle tested in the weight room this offseason.
