Lagrone has immense upper body strength but would like to see more hip flexibility and to keep a flatter back when engaged with another lineman. He does a good job of of occupying space and once he get his hands on the ball carrier he is easily strong enough to sling them to the ground. He shows very good quickness considering his size. This season he is playing center, and over a recent two game stretch he has 22 pancake blocks. Lagrone has also lost around 20 pounds over the 6-8 months as well, and his quickness continue to increase as a result. His natural size and athleticism makes for a very intriguing recruit, especially now that he is at the center spot but he could play OG or still NT on defense.
