Williams is a solid athlete who played both ways at Josey last season but now at Westside in Augusta. He has solid speed to get around the corner of defender with good angles. He honestly looks a lot more like a DB and this offseason he has been working on his agility a lot. Williams has a few big hits on his highlight reel. He is also playing running back and returning kicks for Westside. He put together a very productive season in terms of yardage, also returned a few kicks for a score. Williams is the best athlete at his HS no doubt. His agility improvements seem to have translated over nicely this year, and he’s quicker with his cuts for sure. Biggest issue is he’s always trying to make the big run instead of getting the most yards possible. Also does a terrible job of protecting the football. Williams will have to play safety at the next level where his explosiveness can be utilized better and he can make more straight line movements.
