What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?

I am a very committed player and a hard worker.

The word around Grayson is that Gurvin is going to be a dude this year, and probably one of their top running backs. The school is never short on running talent, but the coaching staff is talking up Gurvin right now heading into summer workouts. He didn’t play varsity last year with seniors getting the brunt of the snaps. What I do like about Gurvin from watching JV film is the patience he shows running the ball, if a gap closes up, he redirects and finds a new seam. With a good OL, it looks like he will make very good use of his blocks. Low to the ground body type naturally has Gurvin with good pad level. Gurvin has come into his senior year making some very nice plays against top competition. He is a hard runner who fights for extra yardage, and it does appear that his acceleration has improved – much better getting thru the line of scrimmage. Grayson is using him a lot as an APB with a lot screens out to the flat from the backfield.
