What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?

6A Honarable mention Defense
2017 99 tackles
2018 102 tackles
Want makes me stand out is that I have a nose for the ball and I’m a sure tackler

Garland has 99 tackles, over 50 of those were solo last year. The lanky safety prospect is the little brother of an FBS caliber 2018 recruit, and you see a lot of the same athleticism as he flows to the football. Garland seems to be a secure tackler with a long reach to trip up the ball carrier. He also gets his hands on the ball, and forced a few fumbles last year with heavy impact hits. Separated the ball carrier from the ball seems to be a strong suit for Garland, but honestly would like to see him do it more in the pass. He needs to add weight to his frame if playing closer the LOS becomes his path to playing time in college.
