What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?

I am hardworking on the field and in the classroom.

Cassel is a talented lineman for Meadowcreek who has received reps all the way back to his sophomore year on the varsity. He has a solid motor and makes his fair share of backside pursuit tackles. The senior has topped out in high school at least to be around 250 lbs. and has held that weight for awhile now. We do believe there is more room to improve on his weight at the next level and colleges have the luxury of playing him at multiple spots and schemes. He uses his hands pretty well getting off blocks, and definitely works his tail off to do so. Cassel played really well his senior year after building off solid seasons the past few. He made All-County in Gwinnett. Showed better activity with his hands and feet off the line of scrimmage and just more violent in general at the point of attack. He’s a big athlete, and with more time in the weight room he could really tap into his potential. As it is, Cassel is more of a run stopper than pass-rusher and his relentless effort on the field should trickle into gradual progress throughout his college career.
