Griffin has very good size at 6’3″ and shows good toughness on film. He definitely likes contact, and you have to like how low he plays the game. There is a lot of energy in the 2021 defensive end prospect. He does a nice job getting leverage on the offensive lineman but could really use a swim move to get off blocks either. He’s a lot strong than his 6’3″ 210 lbs frame suggest and does a nice job occupying his area. Excellent motor, really showing a lot of urgency. Say Griffin shows up around 230 as a senior and I think that he will definitely get some D1 interest, but right now the wiry edge defender will most likely play a level lower. He is definitely heavily under recruited at this point, and if he is a legit 6’3″ that would make a huge difference. Watching his film against Peach County and I’m honestly more impressed. His film was not the best made, seems to have a scrimmage a lot at the beginning. Increasing his production and getting +10 sacks would be a nice jump to look for in Griffin. He’s a very good athlete with an explosive step to his game, plus a 36″ vert, so he could really break out.
