Lett was at Hapeville Charter in 2021, but looks to be at Creekside here in 2022 or at least that seems to be the latest development. The 2023 receiver has good speed on his release. Once Lett can stride out he gets up field in a hurry. At around 6’2″ he has the type of long running stride that eats up yardage. There is pretty consistent film throughout his junior year where he runs up the seam and makes a tough catch even turning 180 degrees to adjust to the pass in some situations. We are intrigued by his ball skills among his overall top end speed. It seems like Lett has the skill set that should really attract FBS programs. Lett does need to get stronger and show more breaking tackles after the catch. He doesn’t have very good balance taking on contact and goes down quickly. Lett is a pretty willing blocker on the edge, he settles into the block and shows pretty impactful hands at the point of attack. We like Lett’s upside, but want to see more with his route running and breaking more tackles after the catch. He is the type of player that could really blow up his senior year or even at camps this summer if he can replicate some of the more higher degree of difficulty catches he shows on film.
