Kris Thomas – WR
Lowndes

#9 WIDE RECEIVER

HT: 6’2″
WT: 175
GPA: 3

Thomas didn’t really do much in 2020, but 2021 he is starting off with a bang at the Corky Kell making several high degree of difficulty catches, including a 55 yarder late where he high-pointed the football to put Lowndes in scoring position. He is a good route runner, coming out his breaks quickly and making himself a big target for the QB. Thomas shows really good body control when going up for a football and strong hands making plays through contact. He even recovered the onside kick to give Lowndes a fighting chance in the Corky Kell. He’s absolutely a recruit to watch this fall. The ball skills and route running look good. What consistently stands out about Thomas is the hands. He shows strong hands and is able to collect in balls from a wide radius. He has a quick first step and is able to deceptively get around DB’s by making decisive cuts. Decent balance running after the catch and he breaks some nice tackles for a 175 lbs. receiver.
