Buckley has a legit running stride with an impressive gait and excellent acceleration getting to his top speed. He is a big play waiting to happen, and has some huge plays on special teams this year. Chapel Hill was definitely a run heavy team in 2019, but the 2021 recruit got his number called, he made the most of it with big plays. Buckley can stretch the field with his speed and just starting to scratch the surface with his open field running. Given more time and experience he should really become a threat and definitely can be utilized as a receiver used on a lot of screens. He will test out well at combines. I’m curious to see if he can play some CB honestly with his ability to accelerate.
