Dixon primarily has played hoops, but the explosive 2019 recruit shows a nice feel for the game, above average wiggle when moving out in space. The hops player seems to have a knack at reading the defender and making well timed cut backs. Speed of the game will be an adjustment, but Dixon shows the frame and reactions that should translate well at the next level. His natural size and ability to stride out into open field and break off long plays looks to be really good. Dixon is a natural physical athlete, and though last fall was his first year, he looked very comfortable out there on the field, even playing defense where he makes a few big hits.Dixon’s long legs and natural elusive nature makes for him to be an interesting football recruit. He doesn’t have the explosiveness we look for, but it’s worth monitoring the progress he makes from year 1 of football to year 2.
