The 2020 slot receiver prospect is used a lot on bubble screens and underneath routes which fits Malmgren’s passing style perfectly. He has very good hands, and excellent concentration making catches over the shoulder with the defense all over. Autenrieth gets up field quickly, it’s what I like the most about the 2020 recruit. He takes these screen passes and gets up field in a hurry – plus he tough to tackle after the catch with his natural low running stride. He’s a solid looking recruit, top end speed is not shown too much but he is a quick accelerator none the less. Route running is very good for Autenrieth. He’s very deceptive right at the snap, and can beat press coverage using his quickness. I really like the balance he shows breaking through tackles too, the 2020 recruit really keeps his feet through arm tackles and keeps upright.
