Nolan had 73 tackles, 2 interceptions, 2 FF and 3 sacks last year playing in the deepest region in 6-A. The long 6’3″ standout made all-county for his efforts. He also is a standout basketball player. Watching his film, he does a nice job pursuing the football, and he gets very low on his tackle attempts. I really like how he back pedals and the depth he gets in zone coverage. Nolan needs to add more weight and get more aggressive getting off his blocks. His height allows him to see over blockers, and he does a good job of reacting to the play. Nolan has good upside, he moves well laterally, another sign of his hoops background. He fits more as an OLB at the next level.
