What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?

My stats and my nonstop motor. Coaches love that about me.

Moate had a huge junior year over at Crisp, totaling 115 tackles, 18 tackles for loss and 6 sacks. Maybe even more remarkable is his 45 QB hurries. That’s nuts, and shows how much havoc he created for the state runner-ups. Moate plays baseball and track and field too. He was a rising senior legend. He is very physical at the point of attack, cannot really teach his toughness or work ethic he he shows on film. Moate really works his tail off. Even when getting knocked down he is booking it. Makes a good bit of tackles from the backside too. Moate is a very smart player, doesn’t get fooled too much on the read option. Uses hands pretty well to get off blocks. Needs to get stronger in the lower body for sure, and just from judging his frame, I think Moate will only get up to around 270-280 at the next level, making him a pretty undersized DT. Cannot deny his production though. Several D1 programs have offered this evaluation period. Definitely has some film from as a sophomore in his most current highlight reel too. I would say his energy is really what separates Moate from so many players.
