What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?
I am a leader both on the field and in the classroom. I am 110% all the time and my goal is to take my skills to the next level.
As a sophomore I earned the starting middle linebacker position at Archer High School in Lawrenceville, Ga. I also earned the starting MLB at the 2017 NUC All American game as a sophomore.
O’Rourke has earned his stripes in the Archer defense, and gotten some solid reps the last few years. He is a pretty hard hitter, and does a pretty good job of reading his assignment and reacting to the play. Lateral quickness and closing speed need to improve. O’Rourke is a good student, and his mental quickness shows on the field with how quickly he flows to the football. No doubt, last season he took on a lot of D1 caliber football players, so you definitely know he is ready to play competitive football in college.
