Byrd is a powerful running back who runs with outstanding pad level. He allows that natural forward lean to get ample yards after contact, making him an ideal in between the tackle running back. Byrd has made a concerted effort on improving his speed and if you watch his film from year to year you see that improvement. He is committed to Army and should fit well at their B-Back spot.

I believe that I demonstrate all of the characteristics of a future collegiate athlete working daily to better myself for the road ahead. My dedication and willingness to set the bar high will set me above the rest.My leadership on and off the field helps me to navigate thoroughly thru my academics, extracurricular activities, and community involvement. These are just a few of the characteristics that truly set me apart from all other athletes.
